How we give back:
At DiMatteo Group Financial Services, we believe in giving back to the community we call home. Through the DiMatteo Family Charitable Foundation, we support local organizations and causes that strengthen families, promote opportunity, and improve lives across our region for over 20 years.
Our Annual Golf Outing:
Our Annual Golf Outing is the DiMatteo Family Charitable Foundation’s signature fundraising event. Each year, sponsors, golfers, and donors come together for a day on the course to help strengthen our community and support the local organizations we care about most.

Gala Auction Dinner:
In 2024, we launched our Gala Auction Dinner to expand our fundraising efforts and support even more organizations in need. The evening brings together friends of the Foundation for a memorable night featuring sponsorships and a live and silent auction.
Our first Gala welcomed over 100 guests and raised $48,000 through sponsorships and a live and silent auction benefiting Connecticut Children’s Foundation.
Easter Basket Drive:
Our annual Easter Basket Drive is one of the ways we support families in our local community. For over 25 years, we have collected and distributed nearly 2,500 Easter baskets in total, filled with treats and essentials, helping to create special moments for children and families during the holiday season.
Under the Tree:
Each year, our team donates and delivers hand-wrapped Christmas gifts to support BHcare’s Under the Tree program. This effort helps bring joy to individuals and families in our community during the holiday season.
Book Drive:
Starting in 2024, we gathered 391 books through our October Book Drive, thanks to our valued clients, colleagues, and the local community, all of which were donated to the Shelton Plum Library.
